Back into it: AVG question

Post by Halsey »

After a long hiatus, I've gotten back into playing.

All the new art coming out has motivated me to go at it, again.[:D]

Now, the question is.
Do the AVG H8's go back into the pool after they withdraw?

Or, do I need to upgrade them to another fighter, to make them available for the Chinese AF.

Depends on the scenario - but IIRC they (H81-A3) do go back to Chinese pool and are available to be picked up by several squadrons of Chinese Air Force.

Same happens whether you withdraw AVG squadrons or upgrade them to other planes - the H81-A3s will go back to Chinese pool.

Thank you, I thought that was what happened in the full campaign scenarios.

Old age makes some of the smaller details a little harder to remember.[;)]

Upgrading to P40Es as soon as you can and before you lose many of the H81A3s in combat maximizes the number of air frames going into the Chinese pools.

Exactly what I am trying to accomplish.
I'm mixing it up between P40E's and P-39D's, since my pools have even numbers of both.

Thank you.
