Juegazo!!!

Post by reynt »

Comprado

Bought

I would have liked more detailed graphics. A sharper battlefield
I like the gameplay
3D is great, now everything is more real
There are failures; patches ...
A tactician between Combat Mission stockings and an RTS. Not at all I consider this Close Combat 3D an RTS as I read out there

I really like it

The game has a very good base. Perfecting details, a very, very good tactician will remain.
I insist again, half a dozen more orders would suit him very well. I would like to know if developers have had such an option in mind.

I play !!!

I agree. I know it's stuck to the old CC orders, but I'm certain some new ones wouldn't have gone amiss like Assault this would be used for short distance assault where soldiers shoot from the hip on the move throwing grenades etc as they storm a building or enemy position. Plus other move orders, one stipulating for stealth stick to covered terrain another to move shortest distance regardless of cover and finally move using bounding cover (some move forward whilst others give covering\suppressing fire). Just feels sticking to the old CC totally also brings with it it's restrictions, restrictions probably there due to lack of processing power back in the day.

I do not agree. Because the keys from the CC games are how they have realism and they are simple. If you add more orders in the command orders, it would be too cumbersome. Look Sudden Strike 4, it has many different command orders and what they got with it, less realism, you can not use them too much in combat because you have not time and less fun.

I prefer automatic things as the TBF has. By example. If you give the sneak order to your teams, they finish the movement at ambush. If you move, they finish at defend. The defend mode is a lot better than the old CC defend mode. Move fast always was the assault. We do not need more orders in a game where combat can happen very fast.

Other point, if the command orders are directly relationated with animations from the 3D objects (soldiers, vehicles, guns), the addition from more can end in more problems, more work and much from everything. More time. Better improve what you want in this moment and next we will see.....[;)]

Close Combat: The Bloody First utiliza la pausa, en pausa se pueden dar ordenes, por consiguiente sí da tiempo a dar más órdenes a tus unidades.

Close Combat: The Bloody First uses pause, in pause you can give orders, so give time to give more orders to your units.

If you need pause a game because in normal time, you can not use the commands, it is clear how it would not be good.....it would be a botched job.

You look as if you want add abilities to the units. Perhaps you should play a Sudden Strike 4 and you will see what you have lost at comparation.......

When I play, I like to play relaxed, and above all, enjoy. I like to pause, calmly give orders and continue in real time. I know it's a real time based game, but I make use of the pause when I can't keep up with the pace of battle (unfortunately, my i9 core is faster processing than my brain) There's nothing wrong with that.

Hoping commands could be made more context sensitive or accessible via breakout menu from the standard orders menu. Have a Move function thats halfway between Move and Sneak. Highly tactical tiptoeing but not low crawling. A Move Fast order thats an all-out sprint for 30 meters not just double-timing. With fatigue penalties. A Sneak that either returns fire when fired upon or pops smoke if possible and reverses course instead. A Fire sub-order thats signified with a red arc meaning shoot at anything you see regardless of damage probability. A defend then fallback command so when enemy fire gets too much unit initiative chooses the better part of valor and retreats. An ambush until fired upon sub-order where initiative replaces ambush status with defend status.

Not ashamed to admit that after 23 years playing CC at max difficulty, to TBF's credit, I once again find myself using the pause function to gather situational awareness and issue orders.
