Unmanned Surface Vessels

Post by Araner »

Hello,
I've been trying to build a simulation that reflects the emerging US Navy "Ghost Fleet" concept explained in the following article. https://www.popularmechanics.com/milita ... e-vehicle/
Scenario platforms would include an FFG(X) (the BIW entry based on the Navantia F100 design with modified specifications), a few LCS, some Sea Hunter USVs and a few Large USVs based on the OSV Hull built for the Iraqi Navy. Thus far, most platforms can be created by modifying existing models in the database. The only problem is using the LUSV as an armed platform. Various specifications for the vessels include a 32 cell Mk-41 VLS configured for ESSM Blk II and SM-2 Blk IIIc.

Presumably, targeting would be provided by other platforms via the CEC. Therein lies the problem with using this in CMANO, as afaik CEC can not be added to a model that does not already have it in the database.
Any workarounds would be highly appreciated.
Thank You
