Saw this video on DUST today, and I am certain you can agree, "this is scary".

What would an emp pulse do to them?

IMO scary is when not everyone on the planet in 2019 doesn't have access to clean drinking water.

Well, likely as much as it would do to everything else :). Not an ideal solution.

But if you have 1 million drones killing off your population or your troops a blanket solution is about all there is. I wonder how much it would cost to build a Faraday Cage big enough for me my wife and my cats to live in. Hmmm.

You'd still be living in a cage?

Only till the drones were dead from the EMP. [8D]

Maybe a tin foil hat would work.

I doubt the drones could be emp proof but it is possible to make power sources EMP proof.

Has there ever been a time when everyone had clean drinking water?
You know what they say, don't you? About how us MechWarriors are the modern knights, how warfare has become civilized now that we have to abide by conventions and rules of war. Don't believe it.

That precludes no one else having it?

It just occurred to me that one of the Hammer's Slammers stories has equipment like that. Except drones in it each has a gun (powergun, 1 cm caliber). Those were brought in by local mafia boss. One of the Hammer's agents hacked control and cleaned the town.

If anyone ever proposes selling that crap to public for anyone to buy like hunting rifles, he should be told in LOUD VOICE that those drones can be used against him.

It has been claimed that in time of Middle Ages, there was a place without good drinking water. All people there drank beer, even children. It has even been claimed that there wasn't drinking water anywhere and everyone drank beer everywhere. Of course the second claim isn't true but mistaken(?) exaggeration of the first.

That's good. It's a bit like Black Mirror's 'Hated In The Nation", which is worth a watch! ;)
