1.0.2 beta bug

Post by Bagpipe »

Enemy units visible during deployment before selecting "Begin" on Sbiba ridge. New campaign since installing beta.

Splash screen while loading now pale blue instead of sand colour?

Wont let me upload screengrab

It seems it is still possible to deploy tanks/vehicles in buildings.

Truly cringe-worthy photo. Thanks for posting, Tom.

Basically, I just fool with the game and mod it. I don't play it seriously.

Whereas, Battle Academy 2, for example, does everything right. Of course, that engine has more time in the oven. But still...

Dude, could you open your own thread? This thread is for my specific bug listed above...

Thank you ;)

If you load a saved game that was saved in battle before you hit begin then enemy models may be visible until you hit 'begin.' This is on the list of issues to address.

If this battle save was created before 1.0.2 then yes, you could reload an early save where a vehicle is inside a building during deploy. There are also a few specific buildings where the terrain coding is slightly off, leaving open ground at one end of the building. This too is on the list.

I shouldn't have left my post above so dour. Still having fun despite the bugs; scenarios play quickly; the enemy actually attacks; definitely some nice chrome included;easy text modding.

So if you are not looking for super-realism atm, I would recommend a look. If you cannot overlook certain things, wait for the patches [;)]
