Release also planned for Steam?

Warplan looks really promising and I like what I`ve read so far in the manual. Are there any plans (and if so when) to also release this title on Steam?

The game will first be released only in our store. As usual, we are not certain when/if a Steam release will follow, but just as with our other games, if we release it on Steam, your Matrix purchase will enable you to unlock the game on Steam as well.

I somehow suspects it takes some time for cash gone to Steam to get to Matrix, hence a launch of a new game happens first through their store.

And consider that there is a % that goes into Steam pockets (apparently 30%, which is huge). I know everyone deserves its share and I'm very happy with Steam but... I feel the wargaming developing community is in bigger need of funding than Steam (we are such a niche). I will probably get on Matrix and unlock the Steam version.

From the business point of view, makes a lot of sense to launch only in Matrix website to get the full of the revenue in the first months when there is a peak of purchases and launch later on in Steam.

Steam has much, much, much, much for exposure than Matrix Games and Slitherine's little ol' websites get. I will never understand the hatred for Steam, other than the sizeable cut they take from developers, which sucks booty. But, I guess it's the price of business to make your game visible to millions more people.
