End of game ?

Post by beatle »

I thought the end of game was 9/45. I did not change the default to make it longer and the game is still going on, 11/45. What can account for that?

The game ends in '47, or when one side reached a victory condition, for the allies, they need to clear every axis nation, for the axis they need to defeat the SU and own Cairo or London, plus Paris and all three Axis Major Needs to be alive.

If you play the Race to Victory campaigns then they end in the summer of 1945, but the others all have a default end date of May 1947.

Though you can always select to disable the end date in either campaign type should you wish to.

Race To Victory, what are the conditions, don't see in Strategy Guide.

Slaps issued: 16 - Patton, Dana White, Batman, Samson. Medals/Salutes given: 6, warnings received: 11, suspensions served: 4, riots: 2.

Victory Conditions can be found on the start up page for the game scenario. Just click on the Victory button.

Yeah, good luck with Decisive Victory with either side in 1945 :)

I do see there's a second strategy guide, that might be what I'm looking for.

Looking for that guide, you got?

If you start the campaign then you can access the Strategy Guide from the top right of the screen, and find the detailed Victory Conditions on the last page. [:)]

Thanks Bill, got it! Like the other scenario (default), duh. It's inside the game buttons.

Where is the end date of each scenario displayed to the player? It should be in the scenario description and, preferably, on the Victory Conditions popup.

For the main campaign it is apparently buried on Page 54 of the strategy guide, or in the editor. For Rostov, for example, is it nowhere except the editor?

Making the end date visible would be a new/returning player quality of life improvement.
