Short range medium titan

Here's a short range medium titan I designed for a squad. Role is to run circles around the enemy and pounding him with everything you've got and hopefully to heat him up before your close range titans move in for the kill. Please review....Thanks!

The armor's too weak, you won't last long enough to do much damage. if I were you I'd try using two nm7 one srm8 one pulse laser, that should do the job well. Put Millennia on the legs and drop the heatreg and engine a bit (you'll need 7 PU's this way), and you'll have weight to spare for thick armor. In any case you rarely need more than 20 to 30 rounds of ammo for close range weapons.

Oddly enough, there's 1,6 Tons left that could have been used on better armor. As well as an abnormally thick CBT armor that should better be placed elsewhere.

If you decide to lower the heat regulator, drop the shield as well. Mediums rarely have enough surplus power and heat regulation to use the things properly. And like Coyote already said, lower the ammo count, you really won't need as much.

Free up some spaces for armor in that torsoa and arms. If all else fails, grab a bigger chassis. You should have about 30 points of armor minimum in every location that faces the enemy.

If the purpose is to heat up the enemy, drop the SRM and GME rack in favor of a second NM rack, or go for some flamers. Right now, the thing needs 3 weapons skills, not counting the optional close combat.

Thanks guys! Now I have a little better idea on how to put in the armor.
Major reworking of the design is in progress. Will be posting the new design soon...plus some of his squadmates too! :)
