Its automatic over time...random chance each turn to upgrade...the unit just needs to be in supply...

And depends how much reinf/upgrade you have dedicated to this. You can always set a unit on "priority" to get repairs and upgrades 1st. Small green + toggle on the unit.

About that toggle. It is hard for me to see if it's active or not. Can you make the colors brighter? And it could be my "Old" eyes!

The toggle itself on the UI, not the Icon on the counter. It's hard to see if it's active or not. I keep needing to check the counter rather than trust that I have hit the toggle.
