I had snow and mud from Oct'39 to begin of May'41 except 1 turn in December that was good weather!

As someone else suggested weather forecasts / % of chance of what to get the next turn are quite important to me. (Like World in Flames where you know you'll roll a dice and there is a table to follow.)

Snow can also represent weather conditions that mimic snow. In WiF the chance of snow is far more than in WarPlan in April.

For what it's worth, the Luftwaffe was insisting on delays to Case Yellow as late as May 7, due to fog in particular.

OKW records show Goering and Hitler disagreeing about the weather with Hitler agreeing to one final delay to May 10 "but not one day after that."

They played it down to the wire too, with Puttkamer calling forward units requesting that they report weather conditions directly to OKW. Hitler was told early on the 9th that the weather would clear the next morning. Code words to launch were finally issued at 9:30 pm. That's how close it was.
