Any counter sheets you just place in the scenario folder under the names listed in the PDF for modding and inserting images. It will even pull for saved games based on the original scenario name.

Oh, just saw this. I'm drawing a blank what is PDF?

Adobe PDF? Like the format that all Matrix manuals are written in. It's a format.

I have no units.png anywhere. I put the new mod file in my documents campaign folder, renamed to units.png, but nothing changed.

This is very poor game design. I specifically install all my games to my F Drive, because my C Drive is a SSD Drive with limited space, and I want to keep that drive clean of game files.

When I installed this game to my computer I changed the installation location to my F drive, yet the developer still putting files on my C drive without my permission? Not cool.

Please fix this with a patch or something.

Hairog sold me on round air units a long time ago for Strategic Command. Glad to see them make an appearance here! Thanks Hairog.

My campaign folders do not have a units.png file, and if I add one, nothing changes ingame.

If not check the other folders in the campaigns directory. I know they are there. I have to run out the door I'm late.

I am running Windows 7 and found the 'WarPlan' scenario files in Documents/My Games, renamed the Roundunits modded file to match the game file units.png and placed it in as scenario file (1939) and, although there was no .png file there before, it all works.

This is the new way that windows forces windows developers to create programs (games included). This is a Microsoft best practice for security reason. This is not poor game design. Further more this is needed for Steam support. Just about every new game follows this design pattern.

There is a Microsoft document you can read all about it.

These look very cool. A nice job. Is this file accessed through the scenario editor or my hard drive as I cannot locate a campaign folder yet. Thank you for your effort.

Erm, you kept your Documents folder on your C: drive, that is not the fault of the developers.

Alvaro do you consider to put the circle air counters into the game?

I know you can mod it but I would prefer not to and the circle counters for air was just a brilliant idea from Hairog so maybe you could make it into the real game.

I didn’t administer anything. C drive is the default drive where Windows puts the documents folder. I was not even aware it could be moved (and I am sure most people are not aware it can be moved). I just made a new documents folder on a different drive and keep all my files in my own folder. It was never a problem.

I will look at your link and see if I can move the folder. But it might be too late for me to do that now, it might break a lot of existing links, I am not sure.

I believe the key folder to find is "My Games". All mods start there and then "WarPlan" "Campaigns" "Europe XXXX"

I have no units.png anywhere. I put the new mod file in my documents campaign folder, renamed to units.png, but nothing changed.

I had the same problem. I right clicked on the file and looked at the file's properties. It had the file name repeated. It looked like this: units.png.png However in the campaign folder only one .png was visible so it looked normal. I deleted .png from the file name in the campaign folder so the file looked like: units
Then it worked.
