port graphic

Warplan is a World War 2 simulation engine. It is a balance of realism and playability incorporating the best from 50 years of World War 2 board wargaming.

port graphic

Post by Worg64 »

I put it up as a suggestion but I would like to know about your thoughts in this matter Alvaro.

Would it be possible to have the port hexes have a small blue line around it for clear view what hex the port are in?
Also if possible could the hex have a small white number for port supply?
And also could bigger ports have a small circle arounds its anchor?

As it is now it is often difficult to see what hexes are ports as well as its tiresome to have to hover over over the ports to se their supply level and if they are major/minor ports.

At least for me this would be a huge improvment.

Can't put numbers as the port images are not part of the port size parameter. Generally player will know which are larger ports by the information panel.

I tested out circles which were in the original version but it made the map too busy.

If you really want you can mod the resources.png itself make the ports whatever you like.
