Decompression Error

I have happily been playing Warplan since the release. I decided to give the 1.00.02 patch a try, started a new game and had the disappearing production bug occur. I reinstalled the 1.00.01 patch and tried to play again but when I opened the game, I had units but no map. Then I decided to uninstall the game and start fresh. I deleted all files (including looking for hidden files) and attempted a reinstall. Now, I get a decompression error when it reaches the 1939.txt file and I cannot get past this installation error. I have tried multiple times with both the saved .exe file and a new download off my original purchase email to no avail. Any ideas of how to get past this? Thanks.

reboot the pc, clean the cache and cookies, make sure you install and run as admin and have already deleted the folder in the docs folder beforehand, good luck, normally with errors the files either still in use, or a 3rd party program is still using it, or blocking it, firewall or AV etc etc

Thanks. Disabling the virus scan did the trick. I would have never guessed that to be the issue. Thanks for the help.
