The pic shows a 105mm Sherman refusing to fire HE at the rear of a gun-out, tracked Panther ("We can't hurt that").

Obviously, in this situation there would be A) a reasonable chance of damaging the Panther, and B) a good chance of spooking the German crewmen into abandoning their useless steed. TBF shouldn't forbid shots like this, in my opinion.
