Saved Game Files Wacked Out!

I deleted all the saved games a week ago from my C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\My Games\CloseCombatTheBloodyFirst\ folder and started an operation and am 3 battles into it. Today, my new saved game is the only one appears in the folder but not in the game menu but all the old saved games that I deleted are back in the game menu. What happened and how do I fix it?

Well, I started a new operation and now it's back to normal....
