How much slower is the game with Tacview-3d?

Its not a lot slower, but it does suck up a lot of CPU and GPU resources. That will impact some Windows responsiveness.

I, personally, rarely use the 3D window. Just don't need it, unless something really interesting is a happening.

Really, it just depends on how much horsepower you have. I have enough that it doesn't care. After looking, I suspect my 32GB RAM, and my 256GB SSD with mostly just Windows and DLLs, etc, helps this. I run the apps from a 2 TB HD.

Older/less optimized setups will notice the difference. YMMV.
