Tutorials?

Warplan is a World War 2 simulation engine. It is a balance of realism and playability incorporating the best from 50 years of World War 2 board wargaming.

Tutorials?

Are there tutorials?

I'm on the fence with this one. I'm inclined to make the jump.
How does Warplan compare to the Gary Grigsby War in the East
and West as far as a decent simulation, just not as complex
as Grigsby?

There are video tutorials.

Grigsby's games take me a couple of days to complete a turn. A Warplan turn takes me 30 mins max. Sometimes less. It's deep but simple to play, and yet I find so many instances where it plays historically 'accurate' on a strategic level. The naval aspect of the game is superior to almost any other game I've played at this level.

A couple days to complete a turn?!?! wow. I own them but I only played one of the small scenarios.

I own war in the west and Warplan is far easier to get to grips with. You will be up and running after watching a couple of vids :)

Have to wait until Wednesday, but I'm gonna get this.
Sounds too good to pass up and the developer has been
so active here with comments that I'm comfortable
in backing this project.
