Destination or Target

I know this is a stupid question and the answer is proberly staring me in the face so sorry in advance.

Is there anyway of seeing where each aircraft is heading or I should say what its target is or is it heading home? I'm very long in the tooth but I love this game but memory is not good when I have quite a few aircraft heading towards different targets and wondering, have I missed one lol. Thanks in advance.

Turning on "Map Settings => Targeting Vectors" will display green lines between the units and their designated targets. Every unit can have multiple targets though and it is not totally clear which one they are attacking. At least the direction of their heading can give you some clue where their current target might be.
In the group- or unit-status window on the right side you can see the current status of a unit/group. E.g they may be engaged offensive or RTB (i.e. heading home). I hope that solves your problem.
