Suggestion: Database Viewer: Horizontal splitter

Post by CmdSoda »

Just a small suggestion for the Database viewer. It would nice to have a horizontal splitter for the upper part of the window, so I could make the item list view a little bigger.

Something like that:

I just want to give feedback (I'm a new user) to an already complex and good UI to further improve the user experience of your product.

I'll second this motion. If you try to scroll with mouse wheel the list in the upper portion, it scrolls past the lowest entry if there are a lot of entries and you miss many of them. The only solution I have found is to manually click on the down arrow to scroll the list. It would be nice if I could resize the upper part to mitigate this.

One workaround I have used since CMO came out and I got a large 2nd monitor is clicking on a db link twice. It opens up two db windows. I use it mostly for unit comparisons, but it can used to have a pic up and still scroll the unit info. Not exactly what you want, but gets some of the job done.
