A few questions from newbie

Post by ThunderLizard11 »

Coming from SC series so not sure what makes sense in WP yet. Playing first as Axis:

1) Do I need to keep garrison troops in Poland?

2) Is there a move by rail option to get troops from Poland to West?

3) What is strategy for Italy? Should I move most troops to N. Africa before they get into war?

4) What should German produce first, second, etc.

5) HQs seem cheap like 100 points, how many are needed?

Poland - 6 units. Read the scenario notes in the manuals folder or what pops up when you 1st start a game.

Rail - Naturally there is rail. Click a land or air unit you will see the rail icon on the lower right of the unit information panel. It isn't production it is actual rail.

Italy - Read the supply rules. This is not most games you played of this genre. This is a pure wargame with a lot of emphasis put on logistics and supply.

Germany - Build what will help you beat France.

HQs - Read about HQs in the manual. Too much info for me to type. Generally 1 HQ every 7-8 hexes. Their command range is 5.

Build armor you may have to skimp on reinforce upgrade for a few months armor takes 200 days to build mech takes 130 I think.
Favoritism is alive and well here.
