Command Modern Operations update - Build 1115.9
Download: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1eK-ZS ... tTBQrL0Kk5
(This will also become available through Matrix and Steam, but players waiting urgently for any of the listed changes can use this instead)
To apply, unzip to the installation folder, overwriting as necessary.
Changes from B1115.8
---------------------------------------
* New game option: Configurable volume for music & sound effects (Game --> Game Options --> Sound)
* Mission Editor window enhancement: Clicking on any of the unassigned & assigned units/groups auto-selects the clicked unit/group and centers the map on it. This makes it easier to check the general status of a mission ("Where are right now the forces I've tasked for this job? Where are the units that I might be interested to add to this task if they are close enough?") without having to jump to the ORBAT window.
* Includes updated versions of the "Surface Warfare Tutorial" scenarios.
* Includes updated version of "King Of The Border" which fixes UI lag issues
* All sound effects have their default volume altered to match the soundtrack.
* Includes new Tacview 3D models for the J-35 Draken, JA-37 Viggen & JAS-39 Gripen, and the Spruance & OH Perry classes and their variants.
* Includes updated versions of the remastered standalone scenarios: Added gameplay notes for scenarios that have special features, fixed scripts not firing in "Green Tide", fixed dev prompts appearing on first run of "North Pacific Shootout", fixed SAR action in "Brother Against Brother".
* FIXED: #13345: Escorts returning from a strike do not land together with the main group, but only when they are bingo
* FIXED: Wingman AC not throttling back in order to stay in formation (obeyed throttle preset instead)
* FIXED: When gathering around group lead, wingmen AC were heading for the deck instead of the lead altitude
* FIXED: Casting error when displaying error message during startup
* Fixed issues with pathfinder for mobile ground units

RE: Command Modern Operations update - Build 1115.9
Thank you very much for the update.
I have a MINOR issue concerning strikes with ESCORTS and re-fueling.
I have provided a scenario that includes numerous strikes.
One of the strikes, Warhorse 1 is tasked with attacking several buildings and is ESCORTED by two fighters. I have arranged it so that the flight has to re-fuel prior to the attack. The flight (and ESCORT) head to the tanker at 4:39 am and re-fuel. After re-fueling, Warhouse 1 and the ESCORTS RTB without ever conducting the attack.
Other strikes which also must re-fuel before their strike mission work fine, supposedly because they DO NOT HAVE AN ESCORT. So, apparently having an ESCORT is somehow messing it up.

Thanks as always.
RE: Command Modern Operations update - Build 1115.9
Wondering when this is expected to hit Steam. My Steam version is still on version .7, i.e. hasn't updated to .8 yet. Thanks for all the great support.

We need a save prior to the strike aircraft heading to refuel (early after takeoff).
Also, this report should have been made on its own, in the Tech Support forum.
RE: Command Modern Operations update - Build 1115.9
New report (with a new zipped file) has been opened up in Tech Support per your request.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

Steam version hasn't updated for me since 1115.7. I have entirely deleted the game from Steam and installed fresh and it's still 1115.7.

Pretty sure zakblood was indicating he manually applied the patch over his steam install of the game without issue, since the update is not published yet on Steam or Matrix as indicted at the top of the first post.
RE: Command Modern Operations update - Build 1115.9
Ahh ok. Just seems odd that Steam is now 2 versions behind.

Was pretty standard with CMANO as well, when doing a lot of fixes in a short time.ORIGINAL: kylania

Just drop the beta stuff on top and overwrite. You can always have Steam set it back to what it was before.

Steam is always going to be a few days later since the push is not in direct control of Matrix/Slitherine/WS. To put an update on the Matrix forums it just needs to be uploaded, to put an update out to Steam is a more involved process.
That said, you can download and unzip the update to your game folder and it will work just fine on Steam versions (I use Steam version)

RE: Command Modern Operations update - Build 1115.9
I just did this to the Steam version and it's running a treat.

When can we expect a fix for the planes not matching the correct weapon release altitudes for land strikes? I've been doing the second mission from Shifting sands again and again, and seeing my planes not managing to get to the correct weapon envoloppe by themselves is killing me (litteraly). This is quite weird because in other missions it doesn't seem to be a problem.

Please report this problem in the tech support forum where the devs will see it
