Surprisingly, I have just came across this game recently and watched some youtube videos for research purposes and decided to buy the game when it went on sale. And to my surprise it went on sale today.....now begins the learning curve of this game. Purchased the digital and boxed (to be shipped). Let the games begin!!!

Yes!!! it seems like i've been waiting forever for this to go on sale but it's only been at most three weeks ! i can't wait ,are there any other games simlar in scope to this and even better than this on the Matrix store that i should look at during this sale ???

For "scope" this is the biggest one and for this price a "no brainer"...War In The West/East also must be pretty huge...

.. for other games I liked the AGEOD system, even if a bit outdated by now and totally different to AE. Not sure if these games are also on sale. And you can get also some games "for free" (more no brainers) especially Steel Panthers.

Edit, here a review of the WW1 game "To End All Wars" I would like to try it, as I found the American Civil War games quite good already:

I will never understand why they don't sell this game on Steam like they do GG WITE and WITW. This game has such a great following and I would think would sell as well as those games do?

I read that. I found this bit highly amusing:

Unfortunately turns can take a hell of a long time to resolve, which can make the medium to latter stages of the game a frustratingly slow experience. It's not uncommon to have to wait a minute or two for each turn resolution.

The entitlement generation is so impatient.
