Adding units into a group

Hi I've I'm trying to edit a scenario and put extra ships into a group formation but every time I try to add the ships to the group the Option in the menu is completely greyed out? Is there anytuing I'm doing wrong?

What are you trying and what error or behavior are you running into? I just Edited a scenario and was able to add some ships and group them up without error in 1115.8.1.

Loaded the scenario, INS key to add a ship. Left clicked the existing group. Shift Left Clicked the newly added ship to add it to the selection. Then pressed G. "Selected units added to the selected group" message.
