This Program cannot run without the Original CD in the drive

Acer Travelmate C102ti Tablet PC
Acer External 24X USB Cd-Rom
Windows XP Tablet PC Edititon

I am the only user on the system and in the Adminsitrator's group.

I can;t seem to find any reference to the Cd in any of the config files or the registry so I don;t know where it is looking for it.
The original CD is in the drive when I try to launch.

Please help.

You must have the CD in the drive to play the game.

Uh..David, Pudding has said that the original CD is in the drive.

Personally, I think this may be the copy protection system having no idea about external drives.

Hopefully Matrix will be able to answer this in more depth.
