FPG map zoom bug

In FPG, when clicking on the zoom buttons in quick succession, the screen will change from FPG to the last expanded window I opened (any application I've left open in the background after starting FPG). I can consistently recreate this by double-clicking either zoom-in/out button.

Edit: Upon further inspection, I realized that if nothing is left open in the background, when I hit the zoom buttons in the aforementioned fashion, the (Win7) desktop shortcut icon that happens to be behind the zoom buttons will actually open. In my case, FPG will open my resume' writing program.

Let's hit all the basic questions. OS, Language, CPU/GPU, screen resolution, latest drivers for vid card and mouse? Are you running any 3rd party apps like Nahimic, Raptr, Riva Tuner, MSI Afterburner? Type of mouse used? Any other game controllers plugged in? I have seen this happen in other programs as well as if the mouse "falls through" the top window and clicks on things below. DO you see this happen with other applications at times? Is your windows up to date?
