Invisible bombing missions

Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

Invisible bombing missions

Post by countrboy »

Hi guys, just bought the game and getting into it. I have noticed however, that many of my missions aren't visible on the map. I get to see the message "such and such bombing Biggin Hill'....but the mission isn't visible on the map. Neither are all of the enemies missions. Is this normal? When I go change it from roundels and then back again, the missions appear on the map again. Is this just the way it is? Thanks.

Roundels are a bit squirrelly still; but they will never work though if you play with flight lines toggled "on" on the side panel, so switch that off if you want to see roundels.

I prefer using roundels as the map is too cluttered otherwise. But if they aren't being shown on the map, I guess there's not much point

I'm correcting my response here after playing with this a bit. Roundels are a bit buggy still. They don't seem to appear unless the plane graphic has also appeared first. We can look into fixing this if its not too difficult. To me, roundels were just a fluff-feature so it was never looked at much.
