KP backordered already?

Korsun Pocket is a the second game using the award winning SSG Decisive Battles game engine. Korsun Pocket recreates the desperate German attempt to escape encirclement on the Russian Front early in 1944. The battle is a tense and exciting struggle, with neither side having a decisive advantage, as the Russians struggle to form the pocket, then try to resist successive German rescue efforts and last ditch attempts at breakout.

Bump... Any Matrix types know when this may come off of backorder? Over a week now and wondering if I should just go buy it some where and cancel this order. Thanks

I got backordered at Matrix so I cancelled my order and bought it at Chips'n'Bits. I think there's other sites that sell it but I don't know their names.

I ordered (excuse me, "reordered") mine last tuesday night and I had it last Friday afternoon. ... and now I'm happy.

good luck

Back ordered for two weeks now and customer service cannot advice anything and I can't cancel my order. Hum...

Can any Matrix types give me any hope that my money will be put to good use soon? I'd love to go buy this somewhere else but my order is being held hostage.

As soon as we get a time frame for getting the games back in stock we let everyone know. I see if there is something that can be done on Digital River side of things as well.

Thanks David. Does seem good business practice would allow a back order to be cancelled. I just want to buy the game but can't unless I want to have two copies!

I don't understand the reluctance to cancel an order. Are we talking about Matrix ?

I cancelled my order after it was in their system for about 5 days. I haven't gotten my credit card bill yet but I will definitely check to see if they charged me anyway. The customer service guy I talked to said it would be no problem and that they don't credit your card until its shipped.

It just doesn't seem right for any company to not allow an order to be cancelled if they have a backorder of weeks in duration.

Exactly my point Hank. I ordered this through Matrix but apparently handled through DigitalRiver. Policy says no credit card cancellations after 24 hours but I requested through Digital River that my order be canceled so I could buy it some where else.

So far Digital River has only advised that it will ship someday and no response on my cancellation request.

Argh! I just want my game on my PC is all

Who did you talk to at Matrix to cancel?

I just called the customer service number that was posted on their web site. I think I got it under the Services or Support pages. I had my order number and everything but had to wait for about 20 minutes on hold.

I'm sorry but I don't think I ever got the name of the guy I talked to in the customer service department. I wish I could tell you. I understand you pain.

Again, he acted like it was no big deal. I can't image a company saying they won't cancel a backordered order. Especially when its going to be weeks before they get it in. Doesn't seem very customer focused to me.

After reading your posts, I'm curious if the really did cancel my order. All I can say, is if they told me they did, I expect they will. (but I may check anyway)

Calling Matrix worked versus using Digital Rivers CS. Cancelled!

Soon I can post hopefully about something else besides my back order. :D

You got it cancelled ? ... Great.

I used Chips N Bits to get mine. I've heard mixed reviews of Chips N Bits but I haven't had a bad experience yet ... I also checked Bunker Hill Games and they didn't have it listed but they may now. There's probably other placed you can get it but I'm a creature of habit and don't shop around too much.
