Can't enter Iraq as Axis post surrender

My troops flooded through Turkey seeking the oil riches of the middle east. But they are not allowed to enter Iraq post surrender to Allies [units not allowed to move over border]. This needs to be fixed. ..... Why wouldn't the Axis be permitted to enter (putting aside the whole point of the strategy! Suez, Damascus, and Jerusalem all have fallen).

To give the designer the specific issue:

After the Allies conquer Iraq, Iraq is at "peace" and off-limits to Axis units, and that status cannot be changed. Can you pls confirm this will be fixed in the next patch?
