installing patches up to 2.3

Hi,
I have installed game v1.0 and then 2.0 2.10 2.11 2.2 and 2.30 but after all the process the game does not execute. I have done it twice. After installing 2.11 it was still running ok.
What could be wrong?

same problem here,
applied the patches 2.10, 2.11, 2.20 and 2.30 to my basic CD version, ----> It does no longer start and tells me: "Wrong disc inserted"

Hi,

I had the same problem with the "wrong Disc" after Upgrade 2.30.

On my system (win 98) there was an easy solution:
The problem was the old link on my desktop! If you double-click it, the programs breaks with the "wrong disc"-message.
After I deleted the old Game-Icon from the desktop an set a new link from start/programms ..., everything runs fine.

The is one very strange point about the 2.3 patch

I have a CD ROM and a CD Burner. Effectively then I have 2 CD players

I installed the game from the D: drive – the CD ROM

All the patches worked fine until patch 2.3

If I insert the CD to the D: drive the game will not run. Instead, I have to insert the CD into the E: drive – the CD burner and then the game runs fine.

If you have a second CD drive, insert the CD there.
