Map Mode for Controlled-Territory?

Post by niki_belucci »

Coming from Commander: The Great War I really liked the outer-most zoom level of the map where you could easily see the territory your faction controlled vs. the one of your enemy.

Would be really great to see this one day added to this game as well (pardon me if it is already there but I could not find it)

Hi Niki_Belucci,

We don't have a per faction controlled area display, but with National Colours enabled, you should be able to see which territories your individual Major nations control and perhaps this will be helpful as well?

Hi Hubert,

thanks for your reply. I have National Colours enabled but do not see how I can achieve a similar map view.

The strategy map is showing terrain instead. Any hint for me?

Thanks! Niki

Thanks for this and with the mod I can see how it might be a bit harder to see the areas of control by faction.

I find it a bit easier with the default graphics (to a degree) where it is pretty much a grey (Germany and AH) + reddish brown (Ottomans) versus everyone else. Although even with the default, France and Germany are not that far from each other either so I can see the point for sure.

Thanks Hubert. Maybe one day you`ll find a nicer depiction or I find a way to mod it.
