Blue Max art - French Ships

I am using the Blue Max art mod, and noticed the French ships don't have their designation (such as DD or CA) on the counter. Makes it difficult at a glance to pick type of ship.

Is this intentional, or am I missing something? Anyone know?

I've reported this earlier and IronX said it will be fixed with the first update.
