Wishlist: Albania is controlled by Serbia

Post by ArtDen »

In the previous game all Balkan contries (Serbia, Montenegro and Albania) where controled by Russia. But now Serbia is main power and controls Montenegro.
I cann't understand why Russia continue to purchase units for Albania from its own MPP-budjet. Even if MPP route from Russia is interrupted. It's more realistic to merge these countries in one group and redistribute own production and allied help between them.

I see your point. Italy had a strong interest in Albania during this period (and later of course) so it might make more sense to have them as an Italian Minor, or Serbian Minor as Serbia is active right from the start.

Serbia should control Montenegro and Albania so as to ensure they all stay or die together which is Historical.
Russia should only control Romania. Rest should be controlled by UK - Greece, Belgium etc. That will feel more Historical.

Historically, Austria-Hungary demanded that Albania join their side, and when their (German) King refused to do so, they cut off all aid to Albania. Then in 1915 the Serbs retreated through Albania.

Sounds like there's room for an event in September 1915 where Albania can either be controlled by A-H or by Serbia?
