Been playing e-mail for two years and hard drive went: So need to reload game to continue. But my opponent (and I) were using the 'official' that is non-beta version of December 25th 2014 and I cannot track in Matrix where that particular one can be found - later and earlier versions yes but not that. Anyone know where it can be downloaded from?

I'm not positive because I haven't done it, but I think you can upgrade your patch without affecting ongoing games as long as both players do the same update. It should be done before the IJ player starts doing his changes for the turn. If you are playing a mod, that would be a different issue.

I think that they are taken down from the product page as new patches are officially issued.

You and your opponent may both need to run the latest patch available - which is actually the now official .26a that was a beta.

Note they can usually run an older version save, but there is no backwards compatibility.
