Sub-unit UI

Clicking on a sub-unit or gear icon at the top of the Force Selection screen grays-out those Main Force units that cant accept the icon drop. It is not immediately apparent that you need to 'jiggle' a sub-unit/gear icon and release it to remove the gray-out.

Am curious why AI doesnt utilize all sub-units/gear when auto-assign is used. I recall reading 'capability balance' was the goal but in classic CC, superior unit numbers were preferable. eg. other than volume of fire, 3 units/9 men were better than 2 units/10 men.

Prefer if assigning a gear icon didnt preclude the UI from allowing a sub-unit to be assigned.
