They are at war, yet they can't attack France. What am I doing wrong?

They may have joined the Axis, but you need to go in the War Panel (Flag button) and declare war to France manually.

italy is unable to attack france until paris falls in base 1939 scenario.

Well, I'm pretty sure I played the attack option with Italy but guess I"m wrong

Declare War on France and the UK. Look in the war panel and click ITALY.

Check left column for dove (peace) or cross rifles (war)
