Co-Op player looking to play

Hello everyone,

I am a fairly new pbem player.. I have played 2 pbem games and many solo games.

I really want to play a pbem game but was hoping to join a game that someone would want to co-op..
Like we split the turns.. I have read a few AAR's where players does that...

IE.. one of us players the Americans and the other played the other allies or something..

Would anyone want to do this? I am anxious.. LOL

A few other players said they will play vs me.. I know 2 of the top of my head is Most and Enforcer..

I would love to team up with someone to split up the turn.. I am dedicated and fully understand the turn will take A Long Time.. I just think it is fun to discuss strategy.. 2 heads are better than one

Hi Lucas,

Just a heads up regarding your request. I tried a 2x2 PBEM 6-7 years ago. We made it through maybe the first 6 months of game time. That took a calendar year IRL. Then one of the four got a new job and moved. Left the forum and the game. It threw the game out of kilter and resulted in us having to drop the game.

If you're playing with single day turns (the default) and four players, you'll have to yield to individual vagaries x4 each and every day of the campaign. For a game that takes just under four years historically, you're looking at an 8-10 year RL commitment x4. With all due respect, you're unlikely to find that. My guess is that this 2x2 either never gets off of the ground or goes less than 6 months before failing.

With all this in mind, have you thought about a standard 1x1 PBEM? It may be "Vanilla", but you're more likely to make progress in the game than with an overwrought and (probably) untenable system.

Just my two bits for your consideration.

I have played 2 "co op" games.. 1-2x2 and 1-2x1 but game went to the end..It is all about getting dedicated players specially if you have friends that are on teams.. they will tend to stay in the game together...

My buddy have played many more 2x2 and 2x1 in general 2x2 games take longer but I think it is so very fun..

ALSO.. I wanted to let you know My friend and I have not played for A LONG TIME.. I am talking years and we are now ready to start a new scen 2 or Reluctant Admiral game and we would LOVE to play a 2x2 or 2x1.. WE WILL NOT QUIT "unless something bad happened to us" lol

NOTE: I will actually never play another WITP:AE game without my friend on my team so the best for me is 2x"however many you want"

Enforcer so do you think You and your friend want to play me or me and another player? what side would you play? I personally would rather play the Allies...
Does anyone want to team up versus Enforcer and his teammate? I love this game and think it would be great to be a team with someone!
