Question about garrisons

When you put an unit in garrison mode, the manual says that 25% of the production is returned but when I do it, I can see no changes in my numbers? So I do not exactly understand how it works. Any help?

The country that owns the unit gets the production.
The stockpile column in production will show the gained points.

Watch the tutorials and read the manual to better understand the interface.

Thank you for your time. I was playing the whole day I have also watched all the tutorials and I have read the manual twice. I have the manual always open in the background and I am using the search function to quickly find stuff but sometimes you can not get the info you need. Ok, sometimes you can not see the forest because of all the trees For me it plays a litle bit like Hearts of Iron in turn baseed. I hope you will release a lot of DLCs for the game. It is a great game you can extend for getting better and better with new functions.
