Still modifying the map to be more historical ... and I have a problem with the editor.

According to my sources on the North African Campaign, there is absolutly no way whatsoever that Misurata, Benghazi or Tobruk should be rated as 'Supply Sources' ... looking at the supply map it gives absolutely unrealistic supply values all along the Libyan Coast which would make ahistorical DAK/Italian operations possible.

My information is that the only supply source worth spit in Libya was Tripoli ... the road (and rail) network was then the ONLY way of supplying further down the coast. Not even Coastal Shipping was adequate (it was almost nonexistent).

BUT, as far as I can tell, the 'Supply Source' status of Misurata, Benghazi and Tobruk is hard coded and cannot be removed. I've tried deleting the ports and nothing helps.

IS there a way of deleting this status?

Or, for that matter, of creating it?

Short of there being such the only other option I see to recreate the supply difficulties in North Africa is to delete the existing road all along the Libyan coast ... and that may not work regarding the excessive supply situation.

Scratch that. Worked it out. Deleting the port does delete the supply source, but you have to force a recalculation of the Map Supply for it to actually show!

Ports are limited supply sources that can be intersected.

Production centers are unlimited supply sources that can't be interdicted
