[Logged] [Top men Working On It] I prefer the old Time Increments to the new ones

Post by DWReese »

Not that anyone is asking me, but I prefer the old Time Increments to the new ones.

I often used the 15-second or 30-second button. The new flaming button seems to go too fast in small scenarios. If I had my way, I would really like to change it back if others agree, and if it is possible.

Just my two cents.

Pause the game. Select flame button. Then use the increment markers in lower right. Works great.

That's exactly how I use it, gives the game a turn-based nature which isn't a bad thing. You can click the flame button after setting runtime at the lower left. Saves you the need to pause.

Thanks for your reply.

I am fully aware of your tip, and as I mentioned, I already employ that method. That being said, I still prefer it the way that it worked in CMANO. I didn't find anything wrong with that method, or that there was anything in need of being changed.

I agree, having 15 and 30 sec time cona be very handy in some scenario.
Thanks

I agree with the OP and hope the developers will add these time compression options to CMO. The game speeds are typically too fast or too slow for me. I don't understand why the 15 and 30 second time compression options were removed as I used them all the time in CMANO.

This issue and the lack of persistence in the message window for those of us running two monitors are my biggest complaints about CMO. Otherwise I have been happy with the changes.

IMO, 1x, 2x, 5x and 10x multipliers would be more than enough.

Yes, it would very handy if the developers could add back x15 and x30 multipliers. The x5 multiplier is a bit too slow and the flame multiplier is way too fast.

The term "bunker mentality" is not always derogatory. Thanks the new increment.
