Cant get updates

When I try and check for updates under the start menu I get

Unable to download file
An error occured while trying to open an FTP file.

If I try and download the file directly from the link on matrixgames I get

Windows cannot access the specific device
Path or file you may not have the appropriate permission to access item

My antivirus (AVG) is give me all these pop up messages even though your application (warplan) has been added to the approved list. I already did a reset

This is SOP for Matrix. Fortunately a link has been provided in the forum - Update 1.00.04

No I get the error message trying to unzip the file.

Im sure it is my antivirus that is block this, but even when I say trust this file it still is give me the same error message.

Not trying to cause trouble, but why in the world doesnt Matrix offer games on steam like everyone else, never have issues with updates on that site

OK was able to upgrade to 1/00/04

I had to go into my antivirus settings and specifically exempt this file in order to make it run

Hopefully this help someone else.

And I dont recommend AVG to anyone who is looking for anti-virus software, is other issues and they try and upsell after you make initial purchase
