Beta patches

Could we get an imprint somewhere in the game for the Beta patches, maybe there is one there but I haven't seen it.
Could be something on the map, not sure where is best. Am guessing it is not going to show up on the game load screen if the exe has not been changed.
At present it is hard to know that a patch is live after you have installed or if the installation was done right.
The lark, signing its chirping hymn,
Soars high above the clouds;
Meanwhile, the nightingale intones
With sweet, mellifluous sounds.

It shows 1.04b in the initial screen

it shows 1.004 in the launcher, however in game it is 1.004b

OK, got it now.
It wasn't showing on the second screen on my PC because I was playing windowed and with the size of my window it was obscured.
