Get this...
In the 41 Scenario, it's turn 3....One Italian fighter unit has been sent east to fight against the Commies. The same one that goes in every game I've ever played... And...the entire Afrika Korps surrenders. What kinda bull is that?
So, now I have to wonder...when do the Khaki clad blunderers Wavell, Auchinleck, and Ritchie and the Yanks who are not yet involved in the war invade Sicily. When do the Yanks start Bombing Ploesti? 1941?
Anybody else ever suffer from this piece of devious programming?

As far as I know, that's an old problem. Sometimes, Afrikakorps surrenders the first turn. For some reason, it can happen that sud front strength is reduced for a turn. You can see this sometimes, because front strength jumps higher some 100 points when you transfer only a small flak unit to it.
I don't know if this problem is gone, when you just move a unit out and in every turn. I suppose to replay the turn. It's definitly no "feature" of the game and your opponent should see that, too.

I agree that the south front shattering on turn 3 of our game is not appropriate. I believe this happens during my turn??? So, I will replay turn two and send it to you.

Does anyone know if this is a bug common to all version 3.2 games? I have read that PBEM games get messed up if players are using different versions. On both my screen and Gregg's screen it says version 3.2, but is it possible we have different versions of version 3.2? In the readme file for version 3.3, there are notes about versions 3.201-3.204. How do I know which version 3.2 I am running? Where can I download a new copy of version 3.2? I read somewhere that you could do it at the matrix site, but I didn't see it there. Arnaud's website is down.
