Need and answer on a little air problem

Hi everyone,

Im having some trouble with my air wings, as the soviets, basically, my problem is that they are all at 0% all the time. Whenever I send bomber mission, theres about 3 or 5 fighter bomber going for it and thats about. Its been like that for several turns, and I fiddled at lot with p;ercentage but nothing changes.

Im in the winter of 41 against a human opponent and he also seems to have some air problems.

I am playing drama on the Danube. I also have no planes flying on ground attack missions as axis. I don't know whether this is a range issue or there is a bug because they were fine before. But I have moved some of the bases.

Usually it is an interface issue rather than a bug. Screenshots can help to diagnose but some suggestions are

i) Is the airbase in a hex that can fly - not mountain, rough, urban etc
ii) Does the airbase have fuel/ammo etc
iii) Are you day/night settings matching the day/night settings of the mission
iV) Are you trying to send aricraft together from a different lutftlotte or front

etc. etc.

I have never found an air problem that I have not solved yet - so far it has never been a bug. But would mean seeing the info to diagnose it.

All airbase are on hexes that would allow for missions.
they all have 100% supply,Ammo,Fuel and support.
Day/Night settings : All airbase are set to do no night missions.
I am trying to just bomb units using the traditional F6 button (Bomb unit). When I do so, only a handful of planes do the actual missions and they are fighter bombers.

Hhm...well while writing this text, I tried to do an bomb attack to take a screenshot but suddenly, now I have 51 fighters and 92 bombers who went on to do the mission. (Didnt hit anything but thats another story on the soviet side [8|] )

Dont know what happened, but my previous turn I had set all air doctrine to 0 and 300% ( Required to fly). I knew that would stop them from doing air mission as it was my goal, to see if they exhausted themselves during the opponent turn. Maybe its the case ? I dont know, I set them back to 60 for ground attack and 20 for escort and now their flying. But the thing is I had those settings before too.

Anwyway well, Ill consider you solved the problem [:D]

If the airgroups are on night mission, but the air mission you are trying to fly is a day mission then nothing will go.
