Bulgaria's surrender

Post by Peter Hugo »

Playing main scenario as Allies on modified Veteran level and Serbs/Greeks take Sofia in May 1916, but at end of turn nothing noted. Then on the AI turn (June 1916), the AI throws most of Bulgaria's remaining forces into Romania on a suicide mission. First, why nothing noted about losing Sofia and the moving of the capital (right now they have no capital), and second, how does Bulgaria surrender besides losing Sofia?

There is a chance that a nation will not surrender after they lose their capital(s) if they still have troops in the field. There's a test every turn and destroying their units will increase the chance of the surrender test passing.

The loss of Sofia should be noted in the end of turn summary that your opponent would see, but there is only a special mention at the end of a turn when an alternative capital exists that their government transfers too.
