W.Allies in URSS - Supply from?

Big question.

Do the W.Allies in Russia take supply from ports, or they're simply supplied by the Soviet Cities fully?

It will change drastically my decisions on how to defend Finland.

Actually they aren't supposed to be able to move in there. USSR and western allies dont cooperate. I'll have to see why that isn't working

Good to know they're not supposed to get there - as I thought it's how it should work. But presently they're here.
I'll have to decide on something but that's a clear cut case where rail from Sovietland bringing supply make Petsamo absolutely untenable, if it's down to just the port of Murmansk I can ship Germans in there.

Easy to defend that location. If they try to take out Finland it will cost them more units then the Axis.

Well technically as here Petsamo does not even have resources it can simply be abandoned and Axis defends down in the south.

I am not even sure that's the intent, these USA troops can just be railed in the middle of Russia to stall the Germans anywhere they like as these units will be large and though.
