Yes France fell easily. I will post casualties after France fall compared to the other game the difference is scary :).

It is a bit interesting though that I cant see me doing any worse and not sure if Tyrone can improve the German play that much? If that is the case so even with good German play and bad allied play France dont fall before the historical date. Seems hard to improve on history as Germany.

Yes a couple of units move to the middle east. In anticipation of Italian treachery :).

Focus shifts to the Med., German units shifting down as fast as possible.
Italy declares war and sinks a few subs that were on my Sardinia convoy route.

Just one or two comments so people might learn something :).

1) Tech anti tank as France I didnt and suddenly realised most infantry are anti tank not assault. Not sure if you have time to tech and upgrade to 1940 anyway but maybe made a little difference.

2) For everyone to consider if good or not. I sent a lot of resources to Britain 20/turn. It means even after suffering large loses in the air I could keep the airforce up build infantry corps and merchants and escorts (A bit unneccesary it turned out I was afraid of the op subs but it seems the war in atlantic is already won all 3 uboats are sunk and I havent seen any new ones. They don´t seem to be so bad).

3) Consider build arm corps for France, There might be opportunities for counterattacks. Tyrone did it well in our other game.

A question.

France fell. All my British units in Syria got kicked out. I can not declare war on Vichy Syria and I can not enter Syria again. Do I have to declare war on all of Vichy to enter or is it just impossible for the British to get in there again. I know there is a event in 1941 do I have to wait for that one? Can Axis enter Syria? Do they have to declare war on Vichy to make it happen?

According to the rules you can declare war on Syria or Africa and the other Vichy bits won't join in.
Africa does get more units.
I wonder if your units in Syria stopped it getting a unit, not sure.
I don't think events for this happen in HvH games.

I think if the British occupy Damascus or Algiers then that colony will go to them instead of Vichy.

I don't know what going on with Syria. In my just completed game I had all ports and Damascus under UK garrisons. Previously this meant Syria became conquered. This time I got kicked out and Syria became neutral. Yet the message they had surrendered came up. Something has changed again that is undocumented.

Yes in the diplomacy tag it says Syria surrendered and I cannot declare war on them. Not sure if that it is how it is supposed to be.

Something wrong with the Vichy, I had the same thing in the other game. British units in Syria got kicked out.
Suggest we play it as a no go zone for both sides in both games, it wouldn't be right if Axis invaded with no possible defenders.

Greece invaded, from 3 directions at once.
Some air wars going on in the Med as both of us deploy bombers to control the central area.

It was a very efficent invasion of Greece. Not much to do. Considered shipping a unit to Athen but decided not to but a canadian unit took control of Crete for now. Eight army started to advance against Tobruk.

The RN was caught sleeping here imo. They could've interfered with the two landings. A straight overland march from Albania would be far more difficult otherwise.

Intel should have revealed a buildup here and the UK could've reacted accordingly.

Yes, Most of the RN was in the eastern Med afraid of a invasion somewhere :). Two subs were there and they did find both the invading division and the HQ but didnt inflict any damage :(.

Not sure I agree with this. I had several tactical bombers covering the area, if surface fleets had moved close they could have got some good attacks in. Don't think the RN can risk heavy losses at this stage of the game as would expose Palestine/Egypt to possible invasion.

I had carrier fleets in mind here, not surface. I'm pretty sure they can be positioned in such a way as to intercept the landings without braving Axis land based air.

I had bombers in Rhodes and N. Africa, so all the sea is covered by at least one unit.

Malta invaded, will fall next turn.

Malta fell easily. Nothing withstands being bombed by the airforce 8-10 times or more thats one of many things Ive learnt in this game.

Small revenge the British took Tobruk.

German forces spotted on the German Russian border. I wonder what they want Stalin mused probably just an exercise and went back to bed and slept.
