How start a video?

Hi, Can someone help me? I wanted to start a video present on my computer with lua, I found some example but I don't know how to compile the string: assuming that the video is present in c:\video.avi can you tell me a simple way to play this video? I also ask you if the video must be in a particular folder or can it be anywhere? Thank you.[&o]
