Unit cards completely gone!

Hey everyone,

My first post here- I'm at a loss for what could be going on here.

I'm using TOAW4 and unit cards (the NATO counters themselves) are not displaying, so the yellow highlight circle appears, but I cannot see any units on the map. This is persistent and I have experienced this on two different scenarios even after uninstalling and reinstalling the game.

Any ideas how to make this work? The game is completely unusable in this state?

Didin't know about the Visible Units option... somehow it got activated completely independent of my turn and then persisted over the uninstall...
