Netgame Display Bug

Whenever I play a netgame, the titan images do not appear, all titans are large black squares. This does not occur in solo games. I have only tested this with the arctic terrain, other terrains may not do this. I am running Win98 with a 300mhz Cyrix processor and 64 megs ram. I do not believe it's because of low resources as I can use mIRC, Trillian and other programs alongside with no problems or obvious slowing. Can anyone provide insights into what may be going on? Is this unique to my computer?

Does it happen fullscreen and windowed ? Did you try a different bitmap depth in the CC option screen ? What depth is available there ?

I had the same problem after doing a lot of reinstalling and restoring on my computer. I have ME, but if you have been having crashes due to other programs, that might have affected some of your WS files. My problem was solved by uninstalling and reinstalling WS.

Bug confirmed. It does happen when the client runs on a different color depth (see CC, options) than the host. Will be fixed with the patch. Workaround is to use same depth for all players.
