Prioritize Reinforcements

Once a unit has been selected to prioritize for reinforcements, does that priority ever turn off, or is it 'permanent', lasting from turn to turn? Do you have to turn it off manually?

yes you need to turn it off yourself! HQ can turn all off and on units in there range also.
